Adopted! Retired Racehorse for Adoption - Arc de Nua

This horse has been adopted!

Arc de Nua is a gorgeous 6 year old, 16.1hh Thoroughbred mare who is ready for a new career through the New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program. Mona is currently located in Saratoga Springs, NY with the adoption fee of $400.

Mona's barn name is inspired by the monarch butterfly because she has a bold look but is gentle as a butterfly. She is easy to handle on the ground and loves receiving attention - she is happy to be groomed, petted, and just generally loved on all day. Mona is great for the farrier and vet, enjoys turnout time with a group of mares, and is easy to catch when its time to leave the field.

Mona is confident but cautious under saddle, and goes along well with a confident rider that can keep her engaged. She is eligible for the Pony Club Challenge and would make a wonderful Games, Dressage, or Western riding partner! Check out her page on the New Vocations website here: Arc de Nua
