Chatterbelle is a gorgeous looking girl with a sweet personality to match, she is calm to handle with an easy-going way of being. This cute little mare is still growing, but she steps under herself well while under saddle and is currently being ridden on a loose rein. She is still green but catches on quickly to what you’re asking her under saddle.

Tricksy is sound and healthy, with a beautiful look about her -- she certainly catches the eye! This lovely mare is going walk, trot, canter under saddle and picks up both leads easily. This is a confident mare who can be a bit dominant in the field with her buddies but is very respectful of her human friends.

Tricksy is a bit of a cribber but only seems to fixate on this behaviour when she has been in her stall for a long period of time. Other than this minor drawback, Tricksy would make somebody a fantastic mount in any discipline!

"Rita is a cute mare with lots of personality. She has started working on the lunge and accepts side reins and snaffle bit. She's definitely ready for more regular work; shows willingness to learn. She does have a knee chip that did not need to be removed so jumping is out of the question for her future. Rita has nice stall manners and is good out with other mares. She's well-behaved for the farrier, dentist, and vet. This girl is healthy and an easy keeper!"

Star is responsive to both leg and voice cues under saddle and seems to stay fairly soft in the bridle, with more time under saddle this lovely boy will make a fantastic trail buddy or endurance mount.

If you’re looking for a young and playful project, this sweet boy could be just what you’re looking for! Roman is still at the age where he is testing out the world, but gets down to busy when corrected -- he really enjoys putting on a show to get attention! Roman is fantastic on turnout, he really enjoys having somebody to call his buddy but doesn’t mind being at the bottom of the pecking order.

Roman was only started once on the track, but is very smooth and easy in his gaits with a great way of moving, a very pretty boy to watch go around the arena!

This lovely boy would do well with an experienced rider as he is still green under saddle but would make a great mount on the flat or trail riding partner with the time put into him.

"Sammy" is one of those hard-knocking racehorses who is visibly thankful for his chance at a new career. He raced his entire 30-race career in New Jersey, winning once in 4 years of racing. While not illustrious, he did earn nearly $100,000 and is now redirecting his energy to learning new skills. At first, Sammy wasn't sure what was expected of him in farm life. But now that he's getting the idea, he has become an eager, enthusiastic student. He's approaching his new tasks with gusto! He is highly reward motivated and quickly became the teacher's pet. He goes out of his way to elicit praise and looks for ways to make his teacher proud. Sammy does have a chip in his knee, so he would do best as a walk, trot trail horse or light riding pleasure horse. He is a joy to handle and work around."

Hit The Links aka “Links” is a handsome 9 year old Standardbred gelding who is looking for a new career through the New Vocations Racehorse Adoption Program. This lovely boy is located in Vernon, New York with the adoption fee of $300.

Links is a real trooper, this boy raced six seasons before retiring from the track. He did sustain suspensory ligament injuries over his career, but came off the track sound two years ago.

Links has been under saddle for two months and is thoroughly enjoying this new job! Links has been started over fences but needs a little more work on his canter, he is eager to please and enjoys spending time with people.
